My first domain was Davnet.org in 2002. I’m pretty sure my first web page was older than that, hosted by an ISP. I have an article here, transferred from that site dated in 1995. The banner of that website has these prophetic words:
Find out who I am by reading my web site
and I will find out who I am by writing it.
Blogging has always been a voyage of self-discovery for me.
I was driving to work one morning in October of 2004 and the thought entered my head: I wonder if Blog or Die was already registered as a domain; it sure would be cool. It was available and you see the result before you.
BlogOrDie.com started out as a personal website that published opinion, educational articles and research information on current events, politics, travel, technology, shortwave radio and religion. It also includes personal commentary. I learned that people want to focus on their own interests, and with my potential readers in mind, I began to focus on radio topics, and put other new material on other blogs. Check out my Blog Roll (right sidebar) for other websites of mine.
