Folks sometimes attach great significance to concidences. Here’s one:
I’ve been in the process of copying some of my aging pre-recorded VHS tapes to DVD to prevent further deterioration. So last night I put the VHS tape of Batman Returns in the recorder. I turned on the TV, and lo and behold my video recorder was just starting to record Batman Returns from the cable channel.
What are the chances of that?
But then with the new Batman movie coming out in a week or so, the cable channels probably will air a lot of Batman movies, and perhaps this also influenced my choice of the tape to record next. Still it is a somewhat remarkable coincidence. Maybe it means that I’m destined to go see the new Batman movie. Probably so.
